If you have been to Madrid, local attractions can hardly surprise you – they are mainly represented by the classic Spanish architecture - palaces, cathedrals, castles, which can be explore for 1-2 days as part of a sightseeing tour or independent travel in the region.
The main architectural sight of the province is located in the capital of the region - the city of Guadalajara. This is the Palace of the Dukes Infantado. Anyone who happened to be here, claim it to be the most beautiful palace - at least in Spain. Arabic bridge, though is a monument that has survived from the 10th century AD, is not a monumental building. But the ruins of the Church of St. Giles with frescoes are rather a bright object.
The region is famous for its culinary traditions, and therefore be sure to visit the local restaurants and cafés, which offer a huge variety of dishes of typically European and Spanish or Arabic cuisine.
