It is an interesting fact that in the 70s a national cooperative of toys existed in Kielce. This cooperative regulated the work of 80% of toy production in the country. The main street in Kelce is Senkewicha street. This pedestrian street is surrounded by a mixture: old buildings with modern architecture. The name of the street in honor of Nobel laureate Senkewich is not a coincidence, because he lived in a small village 18 kilometers from Kelce. Kielce is a perfect city for active tourists. If you like to ride a bike you will find many bike tracks and itineraries. Through the region passes the longest in Poland velo route “Green Velo” which covers eastern part of the country. People who like to ride a horse can use the services of horse riding “Park Stadium” and to make city tours by horse. Kielce is the place where different cultural events take place, among them The festivity of Kielce, New Year Eve under stars - celebration of new year in front of city hall, Hartser festival of pupils' culture.
